Where Brazil’s best cooks come from

by Tammy Levent

There is a small place in Brazil known as Minas Gerais and it is known for its wonderful cuisine. There may have been an incident that occurred there while filming but this should not take away from richness of this land. Things happen everywhere and danger is unfortunately unavoidable. We have to try to protect ourselves where ever we may travel but everyone likes to eat. So don’t be afraid to visit Minas Gerais and enjoy one of their famous dishes.

Key Takeaways:

  • As I returned to the table where we were filming to continue talking about the cuisine of Minas Gerais, a beautiful and mountainous agricultural area of Brazil
  • It’s also where so many of the cooks from Brazil’s top restaurants come from
  • The food is hearty and comforting and delicious, reflecting the demanding appetites of hard-working farming communities.

“I don’t want you to think Minas Gerais is a dangerous place.”
