American and United Aren’t Yet Ready to Compete With Spirit Air on Price

Budget airlines like Frontier, Allegiant, and Spirit airlines are pushing a change in the pricing structure of commercial air travel. The low cost fares offered by the airlines are considered “no-frills”, besides a seat somewhere on the plane, not much else is included in the price. Delta Airlines has already offered competing low-cost tickets on their flights and both United Airlines and America airlines are exploring the ideas as well.
