Recently, Alaska Airlines has strengthened its mileage plan incentive program by including many of its partner airlines, including British Airways, Cathay Pacific, and Qantas, among others. Until September 30th, the airline will reward flyers traveling from and/or connecting through a number of west coast cities with double incentive miles. This program appears to be an effort to reach out to Virgin America passengers that may not be aware of the incentives available to them through Alaska Airlines.
